Please read below if this is your first visit

Important: this new system requires a new and ultimately simpler log-in procedure. On your first vist the site requires two passwords. You will create one yourself when you create a user account on this system. After creating an account you will be asked for a category password to unlock particular images sets for your access. We will have given you this password when you were told of images posted here for you. You only have to enter that second password on your first visit. The system will remember you and what you have access to each time you return.

Images are currently being moved from the system put in place last summer to this new archive. If you need access to items not yet moved, click here to log into the previous system (mosty images archived in 2004)

Known Issues:
Most popular computer systems and web browsers will work just fine with this system. Internet Explorer running on Mac OS-X will not. Safari, Opera and FireFox all work just fine on OS-X. Internet Explorer works properly on Windows systems or OS-9 Macs.

What's new?
• A full e-commerce system that allows you to order images directly from this site.

• Simpler downloads of mutliple files. All files selected are zipped into one archive and downloaded at once with the click of one button.

• A Favorites list for marking "keepers" as you browse through the images

• A more robust search function if you click the search link at the top of the page

Some quick tips:

• On Thumbnail views, the red dots indicate that this image is on your favorites list. Click those dots to add or remove it from the list. If the shopping cart is red, its in your cart.

• If you remove items from you cart or favorites list and they still appear on the screen, hit your browser's refresh button

• If you want to email a favorites list to another person, be aware that they will have to create an account and log-on to see them. If you want to give them access to your full archive, give them your category password. If not, they can simply enter "guest" for a category password. That will give them access only to the images in the favorites list that you sent them.
